RCG held Demo Day at Kore University in Enna: A Day of Innovation and Discovery

16/04/2026
RCG successfully held its Demo Day in collaboration with the University of Enna ‘Kore’ at the M.A.R.T.A. Center in Enna, bringing together students, educators, and project partners for a day focused on innovation, technology, and knowledge exchange.

The event welcomed third-year students from the “E. De Amicis” Comprehensive School, who participated in an engaging programme.

During the session, the FRED project was presented, with a particular focus on the role of drones in forest fire prevention. The presentation was complemented by a hands-on demonstration, allowing students to actively engage with the technology and better understand its practical use in enhancing wildfire preparedness and response.

Following the presentation, students were given the opportunity to visit several university laboratories, where they experienced firsthand the environment of academic research and innovation. This immersive visit provided valuable insight into the fields of technology, science, and applied research.

RCG extends its sincere appreciation to the University of Enna ‘Kore’ for their warm hospitality and continued cooperation, as well as to the “E. De Amicis” Comprehensive School for their enthusiastic participation in this initiative.

The Demo Day represents an important step in promoting awareness, education, and the adoption of innovative solutions in wildfire prevention among younger generations.
