National Park Una, as a project partner, is strengthening its operational capacities through the acquisition of a DJI Matrice 350 RTK drone within the Interreg Euro-MED Fire Free MED – FRED project.
During a meeting with end users and key stakeholders, the drone’s capabilities were demonstrated in real field conditions, showcasing its role in wildfire prevention, early detection, and monitoring of climate-related risks, as well as its contribution to coordinated emergency response.
Through the use of advanced ICT solutions and drone technologies, the FRED project supports practical, field-based approaches to enhancing environmental protection and climate resilience across the Mediterranean region.
Close cooperation with end users and relevant institutions remains essential for ensuring that project solutions respond to real operational needs and contribute to strengthened environmental protection and climate resilience.
