This action is part of the project’s strategy to strengthen operational capacity and coordination between entities, contributing to a more effective, integrated, and coordinated response in emergency and civil protection contexts. Enhancing communications is a key element for public safety and for supporting the work carried out by civil protection agents across the territory.
The FRED Project, funded by the Interreg Euro-MED programme, brings together 10 partners from across the Mediterranean region and focuses on preventing and mitigating the impacts of climate change—particularly in combating wildfires—by promoting advanced remote sensing tools and ICT/UAS technologies to increase the resilience of the most vulnerable regions.
