Baixo Alentejo held its Demo Day on April 17 in the pilot area within the scope of the FRED – Fire Free MED project, with the participation of the Situation Assessment and Reconnaissance Teams (ERAS) from the sub-region, CIMBAL and the National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection (ANEPC).
Throughout an intense day of work, special emphasis was placed on the role of technology in preventing and fighting wildfires. The session also included a practical component, allowing participants to practice and better understand its potential in strengthening wildfire preparedness and response.
