A major regional fire fighting exercise “Fire in nature – Vremščica 2025” was conducted on Saturday, 18th October 2025 at Divača airport in Slovenia.
More than 450 firefighters from the entire Coastal-Karst region and neighboring fire-fighting regions participated in the exercise making it one of the biggest exercises in recent years. The goal was to test operational responsiveness, coordination and efficiency of the units in putting out major fires in natural environment. The activities included the test of FRED platform and drone in operational invironment. The Slovenian project partner, Fire and rescue service Sežana presentted the FRED solution.
